Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

Absolutely not. Our quote tool needs gender, birth date, your general health level, whether you use tobacco, your preferred coverage amount, and the term length. Just those six pieces of information return carrier rates. We only gather your identity, street address, and medical specifics if you proceed to apply.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

The prices displayed are what each carrier quotes for the health bracket you indicated. After you submit an application, the carrier goes through underwriting, which may confirm your class, place you in a better class, or change it. Quotes are estimates only and are not guarantees of what your final premium will be.

What happens when I click Apply?

You provide your name, and we build your application directly from the rate you've picked. You then enter the carriers' secure application system. The process is stoppable—come back whenever you're ready—and all signatures happen electronically. Susman Insurance Agency (License 0B75129) manages the application for you.

Will I need a medical exam?

It depends on your carrier selection, the coverage level, and your answers. Many carriers with Immediate-decision products can finalize coverage on the spot for qualifying applicants. Every rate on our page notes whether an examination is mandatory, possibly required, or not required for that particular product.

Is a longer term better?

A term should protect you during your family's most vulnerable years: when you have a mortgage, children, or business obligations. Choosing a longer term means paying more monthly but locking in your rate. Use our tool to view 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year options from every carrier and decide what matches your situation.

Does this site sell my information?

No. Our rate tool never asks for names or emails, we don't buy, sell, or trade your data with anyone, and we measure visits without cookies. Head to our privacy statement to see everything we gather and who receives it.
